Wedding Reel
Project Overview:
Being the only videographer for the wedding, the key to success was pre-production and development. I took steps to make sure I knew all the relevant details both relating to the story as well as the physical capture of the day.
I had met with the couple to go over their connection, how they met, and their story as a duo. I used this context as well as a few questionnaires to motivate the shotlist and planned on using the ceremony to motivate the narrative of the wedding film. I also confirmed schedules and timelines to make sure there wasn’t a moment I wasn’t prepared for. Another key to this successful shoot was collaborating with the photographer.
Thankfully, The day started off with sun and clear skies, meaning I didn’t have to worry about gear for the outdoor ceremony. Operating an FX30 on top a Gimbal paired with a Monopod and an 18-75mm, I was able to capture the day with little to no issues. I had several different audio solutions depending on the moment, so I had back ups for anything that could happen.
